Loving our Mud Room and Backsplash

We knew there was an option for Pulte to put in our Mud Room or kitchen backsplash. However, we also knew we could save a good chunk of money and get more of what we want, so we hired our own contractor to do a mud room and kitchen backsplash.

Here is our before Mud Room:

 Followed by our AFTER Mud Room! Our contractor built exactly what we wanted. We are adding a Blessed sign above the hooks soon.

We got the tile from Floor and Decor- check out the style here: White Herringbone; we chose dark gray grout and then the contractor did dark gray caulk which was perfect! We love the look of it.

We also decided to paint our island--it definitely pops now and we love that it covers up any "nicks' from the chairs or children!
