Seeing the Sights in Barcelona...

Day Two of our honeymoon was also spent in Barcelona. Today we started it off with a nice bike ride tour with Fat Tire. It was definitely worth the money, I found that they also had a student discount which was helpful. This was the perfect way to see many sites in Barcelona which also included some adventure like bike-riding on the crazy roads of Barcelona! We went and saw many of the sites and then we had a really nice stop at the beach. We drank some sangria and then headed off again. I highly recommend this tour.

Some pictures from our tour include our tour guide (Buddha) talking to us, Gaudi's Cascades, and La Sagrada Familia.

After the tour we decided to eat in the Las Ramblas area after not a successful trip to eat the night before. We ate at Tapas Gaudi, which although touristy had some very good paella and quite a large pitcher of sangria. We then headed to a museum that I wish I could remember the name, I believe it is Museu d'Història de la Ciutat de Barcelona. It was shown on one of the first parts of our tour and has a large amount of Roman ruins still existing before ground level. Here is an idea of what it looked like:

After this we headed to Parc Guell, our last stop of Gaudi! It was a park he developed. We took the metro and the many escalators and stops to the top of the park. It was gorgeous! You could spend hours and hours here---and we only had about 1 to 1.5 hours, so we used up our time there. Here are some pictures:

Then we had some Italian by where we were staying which was actually really good authentic Italian!
